During the session, Ms. Florio introduced the Hertie School's two-year master’s programs in Public Policy, International Affairs, and Data Science for Public Policy. The Hertie School’s master’s programs are open to students from all academic disciplines, although having a background in International Relations provides a significant advantage. As part of a new agreement between AUR and Hertie, financial aid will be made available to select AUR applicants, in addition to .

Another exciting aspect of this collaboration is the organization of annual field trips to Berlin, which are open to all AUR students. These trips, designed to leverage Hertie’s institutional access and expertise in Germany’s capital, will fully integrate into AUR’s academic offerings as 1-credit courses. The initiative provides a unique opportunity for students to gain first-hand insights into Berlin's political, economic, and policy-making processes.
